Code of Conduct & Community Guidelines 

Welcome to America’s Seed Fund Week! This virtual event is designed to foster a respectful and engaging environment where participants can connect and learn more about SBIR/STTR funding. To ensure a positive experience for all, we ask that you follow these guidelines. 

Respectful & Professional Conduct

  • Treat all attendees, speakers, and moderators with courtesy and professionalism. 
  • Disruptive behavior, including trolling, spamming, or excessive self-promotion, will not be tolerated. 

No Political or Controversial Debates

  • This is a government-hosted event focused on the SBIR/STTR program. 
  • Avoid political discussions, controversial topics, or any debates that could create division. 

Zero Tolerance for Harassment

  • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or hate speech based on race, gender, nationality, religion, disability, or sexual orientation is strictly prohibited. 
  • Personal attacks, threats, or bullying will result in immediate removal from the event. 

Stay on Topic

  • Keep discussions relevant to the event themes, sessions, and industry topics. 
  • Off-topic or inappropriate comments may be removed by moderators. 

Chat & Q&A Etiquette

  • Be concise and respectful in chat discussions. 
  • Do not flood the chat with repeated messages or off-topic questions. 
  • Event moderators reserve the right to remove messages that violate these guidelines. 

Consequences for Violations

  • Violations may result in removal from the event and potential ban from future events.
